Veneration of Stone, 2024/25

This body of work centers on Hawaiian volcanic rock, singular forms, isolated and deeply observed. Each charcoal drawing is an act of presence made visible. A way of listening to the land, to the wisdom held in stone.

The work is slow and deliberate. Shaped by close looking and repeated return, what unfolds is a dialogue with the land. A space for reverence.
